Imaging Services Manager - Imaging Services - Full-Time (Exempt) 8 Hour Days

Verdugo Hills Hospital - Radiology Hospital Glendale, California

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Imaging Services Department.  Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from neonate to geriatric.  Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.  Assures competency of all personnel.  Manages the departments PACS system.  Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all DNV, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.

Minimum Education: • High school graduate; BS degree preferred. • Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Minimum Experience/Knowledge: • Background in Imaging Services administration; experience such as Supervisor or Lead of an Imaging Services department preferred • At least two (2) active years in a department with diagnostic and special procedures experience. Required License/Certification: • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association. • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. • Certified by the State of California to practice and administer radiation.
