Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and in accordance with standard procedures, compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written prescriptions from physician. Begins and/or monitors pharmacist clinical activities as needed based on existing or new provider orders.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree required.
Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Pharmacy residency preferred.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a hospital environment or equivalent preferred.
Completion of Accredited Pharmacy Residency program preferred, would substitute for above.
Required License/Certification:
Current California Pharmacist license and registration in good standing required.
Current BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association
Current ACLS Certification

The hourly rate range for this position is $64 - $105. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
