Adjunct Instructor for Visual Journalism

School of Journalism Los Angeles, California

The Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California seeks a highly qualified adjunct instructor to teach JOUR 321: Visual Journalism.  This course teaches students how to shoot video for digital platforms, learn the principles of photography, and design for web and mobile platforms. This course also provides an introduction to the principles of digital news design and the interactivity and presentation in interactive storytelling. 

Willingness to adhere to the established class curriculum is required.

Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field.  Previous teaching experience is desirable.  For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.
