The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position (open rank) with an outstanding, academically-oriented candidate with demonstrated expertise in general surgical pathology and cytopathology.  Boards in Cytopathology and sub-specialty fellowship training in Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal, Head & Neck, or Breast Pathology is highly desirable.  The successful candidate will serve the needs of a busy practice at Keck Hospital of USC, LAC+USC Medical Center, and USC/Norris Cancer Hospital and Research Institute.  The appointee will contribute to the education of medical students, residents and surgical pathology and cytopathology fellows.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be eligible for an unrestricted California Medical License and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology.  The Department values experience in translational and/or clinical research. 

The appointment will be in the Clinical or Clinical Scholar series.  Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications
