Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical – Radiation Oncologist - Satellite Clinic

The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is the largest private employer in the City of Los Angeles. The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California is recruiting for full-time board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The Department is looking to recruit a candidate highly interested in pursuing a blended academic/community career in radiation oncology.  The successful candidate will receive an academic or practitioner appointment at a level appropriate to training and experience from the Keck School of Medicine.

The Department is affiliated with the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with multiple community satellites in the Los Angeles Area. The program is an affiliate member of the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG/NRG), and also participates in trials sponsored by the South West Oncology Group.

The program evaluates approximately 1,000 new patients annually. There is an ACGME accredited residency training program. The Department of Radiation Oncology at the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center is equipped with two state-of the art Varian Truebeams, Trilogy, and Gamma knife Perfexion, as well as programs in HDR and episcleral plaque brachytherapy.

Preferred Education and Qualifications: Graduate of a United States ACGME accredited 4-yr residency program in Radiation Oncology, Board Certified/Board Eligible.
