Assistant Professor, (Clinician Educator Track) - Community Student Outreach - Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy

Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy/Faculty Faculty Los Angeles, California

The USC School of Pharmacy is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor, (Clinician Educator), position in the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy.  Responsibilities include health fair and community outreach supervision and coordination, clinical practice, teaching, scholarship, and service in school committees.  Teaching duties include course coordination in the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum in areas related to community pharmacy practice and integrated health, public health, health fair trainings, disease screening and prevention, and travel medicine. Teaching also includes precepting and evaluating IPPE and APPE students and pharmacy practice residents. Clinical requirements include skills in primary care to provide MTM services and other direct patient care services in clinics and medical homes.  

Requirements

PharmD degree

Licensure or eligibility (no later than July 31, 2019) for licensure in California

Residency training in the area of expertise sought

Preferred

Masters degree in Public Health (MPH)

Prior teaching experience with demonstrated excellence

Ambulatory care clinical experience

Preceptorship of students in community health fairs
