The Data Sciences and Operations (DSO) Department in the Marshall School of Business invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Data Sciences and Operations (non-tenure-track), beginning in academic year 2018-2019.
The DSO department teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in the undergraduate and graduate programs and specialized masters in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics.
Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management, Statistics, and Information Systems. We are especially interested in applicants who are exceptional teachers, passionate about teaching the next generation of business leaders, willing and able to introduce in the classroom new technologies and innovations and who have strong teaching experience. A wide range of service opportunities will complement your engagement with our vibrant community.
Strong candidates will have demonstrated teaching excellence, a background in business with an understanding of today's global business environment, and experience with classroom technology. Requires a minimum of four years’ experience in teaching and a Ph.D. in a related field. Upper level undergraduate teaching in multiple disciplines are preferred.
