Assistant Professor of Linguistics

The Department of Linguistics in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Psycholinguistics with an anticipated start date of Fall 2021. The department particularly welcomes applicants who are performing cutting-edge research in psycholinguistics that both engages with and informs questions animating linguistic theory. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in linguistics or a related field by the start of the appointment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong potential for developing and maintaining an active program of research. In addition, they will have a strong commitment to teaching and supervision at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and participating in the academic life of the department.
