Assistant Professor of Pediatrics-CHLA

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology, are actively seeking a full time faculty member for the position of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics on the tenure track.

The candidate must have strong laboratory experience, as documented by peer reviewed publications and peer review funding. Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., and/or D.O. degree and have a record of training and achievement that will allow them to further expand research and clinical practice in the field of obesity and/or diabetes. This is a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor appropriate to training and experience in the Department of Pediatrics of the USC Keck School of Medicine.

The successful candidate will enter an environment that is already rich in translational and clinical research in these areas. He/she will integrate with other Diabetes & Obesity Program investigators, as well as investigators in the USC Diabetes & Obesity Research Institute (DORI), to help understand the biology of obesity and diabetes and to develop novel approaches to disease prediction, prevention and treatment.

Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience.
