Assistant Professor of Religion

The School of Religion in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California announces a search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Christianity in the Global South with a research focus in colonial, postcolonial, and/or contemporary periods. Strong candidates will be conversant in theoretical and comparative concerns in the academic study of religion and will complement the department’s existing strengths. As well as undergraduate courses the successful candidate would teach and advise graduate students, particularly in the Comparative Christianities area, which emphasizes multidisciplinary and transnational approaches. Ph.D. must be completed by appointment start date (August 1, 2018).
