Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor - Managed Care

Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy/Faculty Los Angeles, California

TheUSCSchool of Pharmacy is accepting applications for a parttime faculty position as Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor within the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy. Responsibilities include coordinating and teaching a managed care elective course, conducting scholarly activities, service on school committees, and overall leadershipin developing innovative,highvalue roles for managed  care pharmacypractice.The successful candidate will also serve as the faculty advisor for theUSCManaged Care Residency and USC AMCP student chapter, and oversee the AMCP P&T competition.     This position is 20 hours per week and does not leadtoconsideration for tenure. Promotion eligibility   for the successful candidate occurs, with theexpectedachievementmetrics accumulated and evaluated over a longer period than that of fulltime faculty. Precise activity percentages are negotiated with the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and the department chair, and are informed based on theneeds of   the school and department.Applicants must have a PharmD degree, and licensure or eligibility for licensurein California.
