The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks qualified applicants for a part-time 50% faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics and Periodontics.
The primary responsibility of the candidate is teaching in the pre-doctoral program in periodontics with a focus on periodontal diagnosis and risk assessment, treatment planning, and non-surgical periodontal therapy. An ideal candidate will have a DDS or DMD degree, or equivalent dental degree, and a valid California dental license. Preference will be given to candidates with post-graduate training in periodontology, and academic experience in didactic and clinical teaching in pre-doctoral periodontics.
