The Division of Neonatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Department of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and USC are seeking candidates for 2-3 full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and/or Professor level on the clinical-educator track. These positions are clinically focused and in addition to contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, the successful candidates will provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and in the 15-bed, level 3 NICU at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, the 21-bed level 3 NICU at Providence Tarzana Medical Center, the 12-bed level 3 NICU at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, and the 18-bed NICU at Providence St. John’s Health Center.
Must hold MD or DO degree
Board certified in Pediatrics
Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Clinical experience in clinical neonatology
Strength in teaching
Experience in patient-oriented or basic research
Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment
