CRM and Analytics Analyst

Strategic Enrollment Services Los Angeles, California

We are currently seeking a CRM and Analytics Analyst to join the Strategic Enrollment Services team. This individual will be responsible for daily CRM administration, website analytics and assist with general reporting across the business unit and school. These responsibilities include query building and maintenance, ensuring system data integrity, cross-functional communication and leveraging data to identify and solve business problems. Balancing the needs of the business with the objective of optimizing the business process will be a critical element of this position.


50% - CRM and System Administration

  • Perform daily activities related to the regular maintenance and administration of the Strategic Enrollment Services data systems with a focus on the Admissions CRM (Technolutions Slate). This includes but is not limited to: assisting with the creation of data imports and exports processes; maintaining and updating queries and rules; troubleshooting issues across the system; and supporting CRM best practices.
  • Additional daily tasks include ensuring accuracy of email campaigns delivering a high volume of messages to contacts within the CRM. Other communication projects as required.
  • Working with the recruitment and marketing teams, manage all events and event communication in the CRM. 
  • Be the go-to resource for end-user questions or issues with enrollment systems.
  • Conduct trainings on system features and updates.
  • Collaborate with members of the Strategic Enrollment Services team, as assigned by the Director, to identify and implement regular and annual improvements to admission processes. This involves identifying business processes that can be enhanced through creative solutions and developing technical improvements to workflow, efficiency, and ease-of-use.

25% - Website Analytics

  • In collaboration with Webmaster, leverage Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other tools to understand user experience on web platforms.
  • Translate data into compelling and actionable insights that decisions makers will use to optimize the user experience.
  • Under supervision, work to achieve full attribution by understanding users journey across web properties and interactions in the CRM.

25% - General Reporting

  • Under supervision, identify and carry out approved data projects and reporting to enhance the effectiveness of admissions activities and school as a whole.
  • Pull and check data report to stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timelessness are met.
  • Under supervision, uncover patterns in applicant behavior or background that helps the business unit promote the school’s mission of advancing educational equity.
  • Conduct general market research (such as social listening) as requested. 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of at least three of the following: VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES5 and ES6), SQL, CMS (WordPress), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SurveyGizmo, Tableau.
  • Eagerness to solve business and operational challenges through technology and data.


Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 3 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency of technical support and office administrative skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of hardware, software and applications to guide technology efforts. Demonstrated interpersonal, critical thinking and communication skills.
