The USC Chan Division of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy is looking for a talented Data Management Coordinator to join its team.
The person in this position will be responsible for managing project data sets, data entry, data cleaning, data transfer/sharing, and electronic data capture. The electronic data capture will require the ability to create electronic tools for collecting data from existing paper-and-pencil forms. The analyst will be expected to remain current with data procedures. The position will require some training and consulting with other staff on data structures and procedures.
Schedules statistical analyses and development of graphical representations of data for research projects. Designs databases, oversees data collection and entry, performs statistical analyses, as directed. Provides consultation and training in software applications; oversees maintenance of computer hardware. Supervises staff, as assigned.
Preferred Field of Expertise: Programming experience in customizing applications software.
Expertise with: SAS, SPSS, Excel, programming languages (C++, Python, or similar) to create tools for data capture and management Experience with: Word, Qualtrics, Redcap
