USC’s Marshall School of Business is seeking a Director of Development to join its team.
As part of a multi-year, $400 million dollar fundraising campaign, the Director of Development will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, and manage the cultivation and solicitation of alumni and other potential benefactors to the Marshall School. The Director will participate in the development of fundraising plans and strategies of a specific geographic area. In addition, the Director may be called upon to manage a sub-committee of the campaign board or take on a project related to a group by industry, or funding priority.
- Manage a portfolio of at least 150 major gift prospects.
- Develop strategies for the successful solicitation of major gift prospects in alignment with the goals of the campaign.
- Adhere to agreed upon metrics for monthly donor visits, solicitations and gift closure.
- Oversee an advisory board and/or sub-committee of the campaign board.
- Develop a major gift fundraising plan for assigned regions and possibly for a specific industry.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
