Graduate/International Credentials Assistant

Enrollment Services Los Angeles, California

The Office of Graduate Admission is seeking a Graduate/International Credentials Assistant to join their team. This position will analyze, evaluate, and interpret the international and domestic academic records of all graduate applicants.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Reviews, interprets, and evaluates student records and calculates a qualitative assessment of domestic/foreign credentials for graduate applicants.

· Maintains currency on University policies affecting admissions.

Minimum Education:

· Bachelor's Degree

· Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

Minimum Experience:

· 1 Year

· Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience

Minimum Areas of Expertise:

· Detailed-oriented and can work efficiently under pressure

· Comfortable dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

Desirable but not required:

· Familiarity with domestic and international education systems

· Knowledge of foreign languages

· Experience working in a university setting

· International academic/professional experience

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00.
