Keck Medicine of USC includes the Keck School of Medicine of USC, the region’s first medical school; the renowned USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the first comprehensive cancer centers established by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States; the USC Care Medical Group, a medical faculty practice; the Keck Medical Center of USC, which includes two acute care hospitals: 401-licensed bed Keck Hospital of USC and 60-licensed bed USC Norris Cancer Hospital; and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, a 158-licensed bed community hospital. HR Talent Acquisition Supervisor - Human Resources - Full Time 8 Hour Days

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  HR coursework or certificate in HR preferred

Minimum Experience/Knowledge:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience required.  2+ years’ experience in Human Resources required. .
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in the administration of health and welfare benefits preferred.
  • Experience in a health care industry preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating with all levels of employees, including management. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient analytical thinking and creative skills required.

Required License/Certification:

  • HR Certification Preferred. 
  • Fire and Safety Certification.  If employee does not have card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.

The Supervisor, Human Resources is a working supervisor who oversees the day to day operations of the HR Coordinators. This role is responsible for ensuring that the HR Recruiting Coordinators complete all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process. Ensures that all timelines are met related to the requisition and hire process. He/she is also responsible for processing all new hire and related bonus programs. The supervisor will also have a client load. The incumbent is the department expert and will be responsible for process improvement and consistency of work among the team members. The supervisor will work with the recruiters as needed on key topics. This position will also serve as the go to for recruitment special projects. The Supervisor must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment while managing multiple projects. Must be experienced at promoting high levels of customer service and have the ability to build relationships with his/her HR colleagues, candidates and KMC staff at all levels. Responsible for coaching, counseling and conducting the annual reviews of staff. Other duties as assigned.
