HRIS QA and Support Analyst

Human Resources Information Systems Los Angeles, California

USC's Human Resources Administration is seeking an HRIS Quality Assurance and Support Analyst to help ensure data quality, data integrity, and compliance within USC's Human Resource Information System, Workday. This position will develop and perform daily audits of HRIS data and transactions, and will apply appropriate corrective measure with technical and functional expertise.

Additional job accountabilities include:

  • Provide transactional support for Human Capital Management, partnering cross-functionality with business partners including the HR Service Center, HRIS, and Workday training resources.
  • Investigates, resolves, and performs follow-up tasks on basic system and data-related problems.
  • Performs mass maintenance/clean-up operations such as terminating separated student workers, closed unused positions and job requisitions. Monitors Workday business process and manages delayed transactions by working with owners or completing /canceling, as appropriate.
  • Engages with other departments with education and training, serving as a resource for HRIS best practices.
  • Supports upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation, semi-annual HRIS updates, and overall system performance.

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 6 years

Minimum Experience:

4 years

Minimum Field of Expertise:

At least four years’ experience using and supporting Workday HCM. Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience with database management and/or data analysis. Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Understanding of SQL and Data Mapping Knowledge. Ability to learn independently, achieve job objectives with minimal supervision, and handle sensitive and confidential information.
