International Project Administrator

Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmaceutic Econ&Poli/Faculty Los Angeles, California

The School of Pharmacy, Regulatory Science Program of the University of Southern California (USC), invites applications for a full-time staff member with the title, International Project Administrator, who is strongly committed to developing a model sustainable community with an integrated health management facility for underserved populations.

The International Project Administrator will work closely with all the key stakeholders, including USC faculty and staff, project sponsor, and external collaborators to coordinate the exploration and implementation of establishing a model sustainable community with an integrated health management facility in Latin America, as part of the Kim Integrated Health Management Initiative.

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders (government, NGOs, academia, industry) in Colombia and US
  • Identify and engage other relevant units within USC  like architecture, international relations, and environmental studies
  • Establish an advisory board and a steering committee and determine frequency of meetings
  • Develop a high level project plan and explore feasibility
  • Finalize project plan
  • Develop year 1-5 timeline and project budget in collaboration with the sponsor and key stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project management plan
  • Coordinate project implementation according to project plan and budget

The applicant must possess a master’s education, preferably in health or social sciences, and a proven track record in project coordination or implementation.  The candidate should have strong proficiency in Spanish, excellence in written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and computer skills; and be willing to travel, (domestic and international, 10%-20%).

Minimum Education: Master's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 3 years, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related education and project administration experience in specialized field represented by project.
