Lecturer in Law- IP Licensing

Law School Los Angeles, California

USC Gould School of Law is seeking an adjunct lecturer to instruct Intellectual Property Licensing for the spring 2019 semester.

This two-unit course exposes students to the law and practice of IP licensing, whether involving patents, trade secrets, copyright, trademarks, know-how or other forms of intellectual property.  The course addresses both the legal issues involved in negotiating and drafting IP licenses and the business issues involved in generating revenue and accessing technology through IP licensing.

The course is taught at the law school, and applicants must have a JD, at least ten years of relevant experience, and must reside in the area.  Teaching experience is preferred.   

This is a non-benefits eligible position.
