USC Libraries at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invites creative, collaborative, and outstanding candidates to fill the following three full-time continuing appointment-track faculty positions with an anticipated start date of Summer 2021. Faculty rank commensurate with experience.

Accessioning Archivist (#365)

Technical Services Librarian (#366)

Head, Acquisitions and Cataloging (#367)

We are looking for candidates with experience and demonstrated knowledge in technical services (including acquisitions), archival processing, metadata development, collection management, and/or management of a technical services department (specifically acquisitions and/or cataloging) in academic or research libraries. Minimum qualifications: A MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program or non-U.S. equivalent is typically required. One-year professional experience (three for the head position) and demonstrated experience in one or more of the areas outlined above is required. Continuing appointment-track candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to have a significant positive impact on the development and/or implementation of high-quality collections and/or technical services, grow in professional expertise, and continue their professional development.
