Teaching-Track Faculty Position, Lecturer in Physical Education

The Physical Education Department in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California provides a variety of opportunities for students to improve their general health and fitness through fitness and recreational activities classes.

We are seeking outstanding candidates for a part-time lecturer positions for 2019-2020 academic year. Qualified applicants should have a master’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation or related fields, possess certifications in related fitness areas and have demonstrated excellence in teaching.

Under the guidance of the Director of Physical Education, the primary responsibilities will include instruction of fitness classes such as yoga and group fitness, weight training and physical conditioning, swimming, basketball, soccer, golf, racquetball, tennis, table tennis and sports related classes. Participation with relevant committees will also be required.
