Part-Time, Teaching-Track Faculty Positions in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California may fill one or more positions as Lecturer beginning August 2019. These teaching-track faculty positions will be part-time, and may carry a teaching load of 2-3 mathematics courses per semester. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and excellence in teaching.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in mathematics or in a closely related field of study. All areas of mathematics will be considered. To apply, candidates should submit a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, and a teaching statement, preferably with the Standardized Cover Sheet of the American Mathematical Society. Candidates should also arrange for letters of recommendation to be sent, addressing their teaching skills.
