Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate

We have two NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow positions available in the Curran laboratory ( These positions are funded by independent NIH projects aimed to investigate age-related changes in metabolic homeostasis across the lifespan in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) pathology.


Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, or other related fields. Candidates with research experience in more than one model system are preferred and preference will be given to candidates with experience in mouse behavioral analysis and metabolic measures. Candidates must have good oral and written communication skills and must have a publication record that is available to assess experience.

Applicants who have a track record of research experience in studying lipid and glucose metabolism, neuroscience and AD, or regulation of cytoprotective transcription factors are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants will be expected to develop projects in line with the research interests of the lab, but will also have the opportunity to design and explore new research interests.

Competitive salary, above the NIH minimum, will commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package.
