Project Manager

Center for Economic and Social Research Los Angeles, California

CESR is seeking a Project Manager to join its team. This Project Manager position will involve coordinating data collection activities in various projects.

Job accountabilities:

  • Work with principal investigator, study teams, and the project and research directors with data collection for research studies. Coordinate fieldwork initiatives, and conduct post-research analyses and evaluations.
  • Lead on technical aspects of designing the instrument and fieldwork, ensure that the methodologies are acceptable, comparable and feasible in the target area
  • Coordinate study teams, and manage research project timelines, to ensure research activities are completed within the specified timeline.
  • Expertise in area of Health & Mental health particularly Dementia and its diagnosis.
  • Thorough Knowledge about large-scale survey related Biomarkers, anthropometry, vision test and spirometry.
  • Experience of imparting training, implementing project protocol and supervising the fieldwork of large-scale survey.
  • Collaborate with PI in complex data analysis for project use and publication content
  • Key contact with the implementing body; coordination of project evaluation; writing reports; and scheduling/monitoring the research activities to ensure that they align with contractual agreements.
  • Knowledge about the Indian population composition, culture, survey related issues and feasible solutions
  • Knowledge about the recent advances like Genetics, Neuroimaging and diet

This is a grant funded position.

  • Preferred Education: Doctoral degree or M.D.
