Specialist, HR Learning Management Systems - Employment & Recruitment - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)

The HR Learning Management Systems Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day learning/assessment application used by Keck Medicine staff and management throughout the organization. This role will be responsible to provide ongoing administration and support for Keck Medicine of USC's Learning Management System (Healthstream), which includes ongoing maintenance, upgrades, reporting, and end-user support. The HR Learning Management Systems Specialist provides solutions on how best to use the learning application to deliver content, training, learning and document the processes to assist with the use of the learning applications and provides learning analytics to leadership proactively and on an ad-hoc basis. This position will work closely with various department leaders to review proposed training content and /material to establish effective learning modules using best practice. The HR Learning Management Specialist will maximize the Learning Management System (i.e. Healthstream) functionalities. The HR Learning Management Specialist will be expected to maintain daily operations and monitors all HR related systems to assure processes are functioning properly and timely. This role will work in close collaboration with HR Systems team, IT and Campus HRIT to support and leverage HR system solutions to optimize processes and realize efficiencies.

Essential Duties:

  • Support all HR Learning Management Systems, providing end users with information and assistance, troubleshoot problems, escalate as needed and follow through to resolution and end user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate and partner with local team and Campus HRIT to leverage system solutions to optimize processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Document business rules and processes, identify enhancement and efficiency opportunities by applying continuous process improvement methods
  • Maintain assignments for all associates in learning management application and consults with IT Learning Team and business leaders on the best solution to deliver content using the learning application based on learning goals and provide testing for all trainings using the learning applications
  • Effective manage projects by applying project management techniques and best practices
  • Effectively acquires data from HR Learning Management systems and provides ad hoc, recurring and on-demand reporting. Validates data and assures integrity in systems and reports.
  • Manage all learning/assessment-related platforms to include creating and maintaining site structures, monitoring accurate user information flowing in and out of the applications, troubleshooting issues with application availability, and working on system upgrades.
  • Ensures Joint Commission requirements under the Human Resources chapter are met and data is available on demand.
  • Is the primary liaison for the local HR Learning Management System and works closely with SMEs assuring data is accurate, notifications are appropriate and timely, student groups are managed, courses are functional, and assignments are appropriate.
  • Publish all learnings to learning management system and create examinations in the assessment to ensure compliance needs and tracking requirements are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Req Bachelor's degree Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Req 1 year At least one (1) year experience administrating and supporting an LMS application such as Healthstream.
  • Req Proficient in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Req Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Req Capable of communicating with all levels.
  • Req Critical thinking skills.
  • Req Other HR Applications (Workday, Cornerstone, Kronos, or Document Management Systems) experience a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pref Experience working with Healthstream in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.
  • Pref HR Certification

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,640.00 - $112,370.00.
