USC Marshall School of Business Academic Information Services
The Marshall Academic Information Services Department is seeking a Web Technologies Specialist to join their team. This individual will be assisting the Senior Web Developer with the production and maintenance of Marshall School of Business websites, both internal and external.

Responsibilities and Duties
This person will apply general knowledge of web development techniques as follows:
Assist with general maintenance of Marshall’s internal and external websites, and other digital delivery channels.
General maintenance includes but is not limited to add, update, archive, and provide quality control of information, images, and video.
Work closely with all departments, centers, programs, faculty and staff by servicing work order requests, assisting with publishing content, and providing training.
Perform routine website house-keeping by archiving or removing pages and files no longer needed on the website. This includes updating menu systems as needed, and using site scanning tools to remove or repair broken links, fix typos, and perform other general maintenance.
Support quality assurance (QA) by testing new features and existing functionality, monitoring site performance, and reporting errors.
Assist with in-house development of new features, and integrate existing contributed modules on the public site, which runs on Drupal.
Assist with maintenance and development on the internal SharePoint Cloud intranet site, which includes but is not limited to installing and configuring web-parts, creating templates, managing user roles and responsibilities, train users, and create and maintain user documentation.
Generate reports providing analytics of site engagement and end user behavior.
Two years on the job experience, or educational equivalent.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS markup.
Working knowledge of Drupal
Familiarity with SharePoint Cloud’s technical functionality and capabilities.
Excellent people and communication skills
Patience and willingness to provide nontechnical explanations and answers to questions, and train users.
Motivation, self-learner who consistently pursues personal and professional growth.
Is able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills.
Moderate knowledge of Photoshop:
Resize, scale and crop.
Adjust color balance and contrast.
Remove backgrounds (magic wand, stamp tool), etc.
Experience with working in a code editor or IDE
Specific Experience with Drupal
Specific Experience with SharePoint Cloud (Flows, PowerApps, JSON)
Familiarity with Git, Drush, SSH, and the Command line
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or combined work experience and education as equivalent
Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months
Minimum Field of Expertise: Familiarity with of object oriented design; Web servers; Web applications and programming languages; Web content management systems, search engine optimization, and usability engineering. Must be able to develop simple Web sites.
