The USC Keck School of Medicine - Alzheimer Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI), located in San Diego, California is an academic institute comprised of an expert panel of scientific collaborators committed to advancing the development of new treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) through innovative clinical trials.
The Clinical Trials Project Manager will consult with the Clinical Operations Manager to assist the Principal Investigator in planning and administering all phases of a large multi-site clinical trial. Oversees Project Operations and functions such as planning, design and development of project protocols, data acquisition and management, analysis and reporting of study results. Contributes to the design of research protocols. Directly responsible for independently drafting sections of the protocol in addition to consolidating information and contributions from Subject Matter Experts to finalize the protocol in accordance with NIH guidelines.
Manage permissions, licensing and translation processes surrounding copyrighted instruments, including adherence to the principles of neuropsychological testing and linguistic validity.
Interface with the Clinical Operations Manager to set priorities and timelines for project completion. Work directly with the protocol Project Director and Clinical Operations leadership to develop, implement, launch and close-out clinical trials.
Design and generate analytical, comparative and tracking reports for refinement of operational activities and to aid in strategic planning of new research initiatives. Report track timelines, project, protocol and personnel progress, inventory of study and medication supplies, clinical site performance and ad hoc as needed. Report integrated data from various sources within ATRI.
Independently responsible for drafting and editing sections related to monitoring, quality control, and completion of instruments required in these studies. Work with the Project Director and Clinical Operations Manager to ensure that each protocol contains all elements required. Oversee the content, design, and development of data collection forms ensuring standardized format and content.
