Politician in Residence, Washington, DC - DC Semester Program

Experiential Learning Faculty Washington, DC

The Washington DC Semester Program in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California, seeks applications for Politician in Residence positions for the Spring term 2021. We seek visiting instructors who can teach courses in international relations or American politics.

We are especially interested in candidates who could teach courses on the following broadly conceived: leadership and decision-making in international affairs; communication, mass media, and politics; electoral politics and Washington, DC; and geopolitics and international relations. 

Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. political science, history, public policy, or international relations) or equivalent experience in the field and demonstrated excellence in teaching. We are actively seeking current and former foreign policy and national security practitioners and those with professional experience in the fields of international relations and American politics.
