Director of Professional Practices and Magnet - Nursing Administration - Full Time Exempt
Apply Keck Medicine of USC Hospital Arcadia, CaliforniaTo provide an infrastructure for the dissemination and application of evidenced based knowledge to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes including but not limited to:
• Serves as a consultant for Nursing Director and all departments to achieve their clinical and organizational outcomes.
• Directs and participates in research utilization and projects to improve patient care delivery.
• Leads nursing staff and leadership to improve professional practice and patient care.
• Promotes evidenced based nursing practice through research utilization, research development, and research education.
• Directs and leads nursing education for the department of nursing for USC Arcadia Hospital.
• Magnet program oversight for USC Arcadia Hospital.
Education Minimum (Required) Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field. Work Experience Minimum (Required) 5 years of acute care nursing experience. 2 years of experience in an advanced practice role. Preferred (Not required) 2 years of leadership experience. Licenses and Certifications Minimum (Required) Registered Nurse (CA Board of Registered Nursing) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pay Transparency The annual salary range for this position is $139,755.20 - $249,600.00.
