Minimum Education: High School or equivalent Minimum Experience: 2 years Experience working in a medical staff office. OR 3 years Experience working in a healthcare setting which is related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Minimum Skills: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and performing Internet Research. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Medical terminology. Experience with Publisher, Credentialing software (MDStaff) and Quickbooks. Administrative Assistant and/or Secretarial education experience. Preferred Certifications: Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (NAMSS) Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (NAMSS)
