Assistant Professor in Methods: Quantitative and/or Formal Theory

Political Science and International Relations Faculty Los Angeles, California

The Department of Political Science and International Relations (POIR) in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in methods that is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2020. We seek a scholar specializing in advanced quantitative methods and/or formal theory who will contribute to the substantive research fields of American politics, comparative politics, or international relations in POIR.

A strong commitment to research and undergraduate and graduate education is expected. The candidate must have completed a Ph.D. by the appointment date. Review of applications will begin on September 15, 2019 and continue until the position is filled.
