Assistant Professor in Quantitative Methods and Computational Psychology
Apply Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Faculty Los Angeles, CaliforniaThe Department of Psychology’s Quantitative Methods and Computational Psychology area within the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California welcomes applicants for a tenure track position with the rank of Assistant Professor. In particular, we seek applicants with strong research programs in quantitative and computational methods, broadly defined, particularly in one or more of the following areas: 1. Psychometrics /measurement, 2. Machine learning and causal reasoning, 3. Statistical and computational methods for experimental and quasi-experimental design. Successful candidates should have methodological specialization of broad application and expertise that complements other areas in the Department.
The appointment is expected to begin in August 2024. Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. and demonstrate an excellent doctoral and/or post-doctoral record that includes a strong track record of publications and potential to secure extramural funding. The department aims to foster a diverse intellectual community and strongly encourages applications from all underrepresented groups.

The annual base salary range for this position is $109,250 - $115,300.
