Assistant Professor in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics

The Department of Physics & Astronomy (http://dornsife.usc.edu/physics/) at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in theoretical condensed matter physics. The successful candidate will establish a dynamic research program focused on modeling and analyzing quantum systems, particularly those involving out-of-equilibrium phenomena, strong interactions, and topological effects, through advanced mathematical and analytical methods. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in theoretical physics and have demonstrated their ability to conduct innovative and independent research. The anticipated start date is Fall of 2025.

The annual base salary range for this position is $111,250–$119,985.
