Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine Division of Cardiology Electrophysiology

The University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine, a premier academic medical center specializing in academic medicine, research and patient care, is seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiologist in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. Clinical experience at an academic medical center is recommended. The prospective faculty will be expected to participate in in the research and teaching activities of the division, in addition to clinical duties.

Clinical practice and teaching facilities at USC include Keck Medical Center of USC, LAC+USC Medical Center, Cardiovascular Thoracic Institute (an accredited outpatient diagnostic center) and Good Samaritan Hospital with clinical and research programs in percutaneous valve implants, structural heart disease, heart failure, electrophysiology, advance congenital heart disease, and vascular and cardiothoracic surgery.

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Program at USC is of the most comprehensive and busiest EP programs in southern California—performing all complex interventional electrophysiology procedures, participating in several ongoing industry and investigator-initiated trials, and running an active ACGME clinical cardiac EP fellowship training program

Applicants must have an MD/DO degree, BC in cardiovascular medicine and BC/BE in cardiac electrophysiology, and eligibility for a California medical license. The successful candidate will receive competitive compensation and appointment in the Department of Medicine at an academic rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
