Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine (Clinician Educator)

The Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at USC is recruiting a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine (Clinician Educator) to serve as Director of Research and Evaluation.  This individual will mentor faculty development in research, teach research course, assist with evaluations and help with critical analysis in the program. 

Specific Duties include:

• Assist with the development, implementation, and analysis of course and instructor evaluation.
• Gather and maintain the data for internal departmental and institutional reporting relevant to accreditation requirements.
• Conduct focus groups with medical students following their pre-clerkship courses as part of program evaluation.

• Oversee survey data collection to meet accreditation demands and organize information that is relevant to evaluation of units in the PA Program.
• Assist with the development and analysis of survey data for accreditation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

Master’s degree

Doctoral degree preferred

Minimum Years Experience:

3-5 years in higher education

experience in a medical school preferred

LOCATION

Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of USC, Los Angeles, CA

The annual base salary range for this position is $99,000-$125,000.
