Part-Time Lecturer of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering

Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Faculty Los Angeles, California

The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Department of the USC Viterbi School of Engineering invites applications and nominations for qualified and experienced part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Aerospace and/or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent in a related field. Candidates must show a commitment to quality instruction - preferably through prior experience in teaching topics either in or relevant to aerospace and mechanical engineering.

This is a part-time appointment effective Spring 2019, starting January 1, 2019. Applicants must submit a letter stating their interest in a part-time teaching faculty position and a detailed curriculum vitae. Applicants are encouraged to include a succinct statement on fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion. Applications will be considered starting immediately and applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
