Part-Time Lecturer of Information Technology

Viterbi School of Engineering Faculty Los Angeles, California

The University of Southern California, one of the nation's top universities, invites applications for part-time faculty positions in the Information Technology Program within the new USC School of Advanced Computing and the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. This position is for instructors to teach classes in the areas of Applied Computer/Cyber Security and Forensics, particularly introductory information security and the security of web applications. At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM-related or industry-related field is required; a master’s or Ph.D. degree in a STEM-related or industry-related field is preferred. This is a part-time faculty appointment effective Fall 2024, starting August 16, 2024. The per unit pay range for this position is $3,500 - $3,700.
