Part-Time, Teaching-Track Faculty Positions in Physical Education

We are seeking outstanding candidates for a part-time lecturer or instructor position for the 2025-2026 academic year. Qualified applicants should have a strong background in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Recreation, or related fields, possess certifications in related fitness areas, and have demonstrated excellence in teaching a variety of fitness courses.
Under the guidance of the Director of Physical Education & Mind Body Health, the primary responsibilities will include instruction of activity-based fitness and classroom lecture courses. Our pedagogy philosophy is to make an impact on students’ overall wellbeing through teaching and building community, through an equitable and inclusive learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in any of the following:
- Kinesiology
- Physical Education
- Exercise Science
- Recreational Sport/Administration
- Education (with an emphasis in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Physiology of Exercise or Adaptive Physical Education)
Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:
- Any Life Science
- Dance
- Physiology
- Health Education
- Recreational Sports
- Physical Therapy or the equivalent
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience in college-level courses and/or training certifications in the domains of wellness, health, and fitness.

The course rate for this position is $2,750 per unit.
