The University of Southern California (USC) Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as Physical Therapy Aides. Position Summary:
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work alongside experienced physical therapists, assisting with patient treatments, preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position is perfect for those who have a bachelor’s degree or are currently pursuing one, with plans to attend graduate school for physical therapy.
What You’ll Do:
- Patient Interaction: Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises, playing a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey.
- Clinical Preparation: Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring everything is ready for the next session.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep therapy equipment clean and functional, contributing to a smooth workflow.
- Safety Assurance: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff, adhering to best practices and protocols.
- Team Support: Assist with administrative tasks and support the clinical team in various capacities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a related program.
- Career Aspiration: A strong desire to pursue a career in physical therapy and plans to attend graduate school for PT.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.
- Team Player: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Enthusiasm for Learning: Basic knowledge of physical therapy principles is a plus, but a keen interest in learning is essential.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.28.
