The successful candidate will serve as Co-Director of the USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future (CPF).
The USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future combines rigorous intellectual inquiry with the deep engagement of students and Fellows and conducts conversations and conferences to advance civil dialogue, transcend partisan divisions, and seek solutions to pressing local, national, and global challenges. CPF events, programs, scholarships, and internships inspire and train students for careers in public service and lifetimes of civic engagement. Candidates for this position should have a long and distinguished record of high-level, first-hand experience in practical politics at the state and federal level and demonstrable teaching abilities. The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $250,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
