The USC Distinguished Leaders Program is a pioneering program launching in fall 2024 welcoming seasoned professionals 55+ back to campus for a year of learning and exploration. Offered in a unique hybrid format, this program takes participants to four of USC’s campuses and into the virtual classroom while being guided by USC faculty and expert advisors. USC Distinguished Leaders build community, achieve impact and enhance their own longevity - the pillars of sustainable progress - to enter new heights as social change agents.
The Program Administrator for the USC Distinguished Leaders Program is an integral part of the team, responsible for coordinating in-person experiences, managing a recruitment pipeline, and creating seamless systems and processes. Reporting the Program Director, the Program Administrator will work to provide operational and event support to a new program in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has exemplary customer service skills, project management experience, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. This position requires periodic evening and weekend work, as well as occasional travel.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate events and programs for in-person intensive weeks across four of USC’s campuses
Manage recruitment pipeline activities and engage with prospective candidates
Schedule and run logistics for virtual and in-person learning sessions, workshops, etc.
Create and maintain program calendar
Coordinate vendor bidding, contracts, and payments
Maintain professional, positive relationships with program stakeholders and participants
Act as a first point of contact for cohort participants
Manage regular communication (emails, etc.) with program prospects and participants
Operationalize processes and systems needed for the launch of a new program
Essential Skills
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of customer relationship management systems
Project and program management experience
Ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize effectively
Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
Effective problem solving skills
Detail oriented and organized

The annual base salary for this position is $77,625.
