Registration Services Coordinator

Cultural Relations and University Events Los Angeles, California

USC Office of Cultural Relations and University Events is seeking a Registration Services Coordinator to join its team. This individual will facilitate guest registration processes for a wide array of University events and assure that check-in processes run smoothly at events. The Registration Coordinator’s role is to work closely with our web manager to build event registration websites and manage guest lists as invitees RSVP. The department produces events that maintain a centralized standard of excellence, quality and protocol for the Office of the President, the Senior Vice Presidents, University Relations, USC Alumni Association, USC Associates, deans and development officers, by creating favorable environments for donors and friends of USC and enhancing the prestige and goodwill of the university. Guests receive the highest level of customer service, beginning with registration by phone, internet, or mail. This individual must feel comfortable speaking with high profile university guests and maintain professionalism in all correspondence. He or she will manage student employees and run iPad check-in processes at events. This individual will need to work well under pressure and maintain a friendly, professional attitude among guests, clients, and coworkers.

Preferred Education:

BA preferred

Preferred Experience

2 years experience in events

Experience with customer service and data management

Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communications

Familiar with Mac computers and iPads

Minimum Education: Associate's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

Minimum Experience: 2 years

Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
