Research Lab Tech III
Apply Keck School of Medicine Los Angeles, CaliforniaUSC Department of Surgery is recruiting a Research Lab Tech III for our mouse laboratory. The Research Lab Tech will plan and conduct research experiments in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols, independently performs non-routine and complex research laboratory procedures and techniques and select, modify or adapt equipment and procedures to specific research needs. The Research Lab Tech III will also supervise other research laboratory personnel as assigned.
The hourly rate range for this position is $30.29 - 37.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organization considerations.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree And Specialized/technical training Addtional Education Requirements Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education Minimum Experience: 3 years Minimum Skills: Fully competent and proficient in the operation of sophisticated scientific equipment and independently able to perform complex procedures and techniques with accuracy. Preferred Education: Master's degree Preferred Skills: Advanced knowledge of research procedures, equipment and analysis methods.
