ServiceNow Developer I - IS Admin - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Non-Exempt) (Non-Union)

The ServiceNow Developer, Senior will be responsible for development, core configuration, maintenance, and technical expertise of a strategic enterprise ServiceNow implementation, including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, GRC, and other modules as required. The ServiceNow Developer, Senior will own the development tasks of the solution based on integration of ServiceNow with other platforms (e.g., Cerner, B+S). Working closely with enterprise architects, product owners, and business partners, the incumbent will drive technical design and implementation to effectively meet use cases within the ServiceNow platform. Incumbent will be able to adapt to client needs, support the implementation of the ServiceNow roadmap, recommend improvements, and work with the team to build upon the existing ServiceNow foundation. The incumbent will demonstrate a deep understanding of best practice configuration principles within ServiceNow and possess a keen awareness of the balance between configuration/customization and the potential risks to the platform.

Essential Duties:

  • Evaluate demand, enhancements, break-fix requests, and provide expertise & solution.
  • Bridges the gap between business and technology ensuring the common understanding and alignment of both to include functional and non-functional requirements (quality attributes, scalability, interfaces, constraints, etc.).
  • Lead ServiceNow technical design.
  • Leads testing for SNOW projects, enhancements, sprints, and upgrades.
  • Analyze events, documentation, requirements and needs to design and develop solutions to solve problems and/or meet organization’s needs.
  • Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying according to a client's specifications.
  • Creates SNOW dashboards and reports leveraging the SNOW Performance Analytics module
  • Trains and mentors teams around technologies/systems/processes.
  • Collaborates with departmental leaders and leads cross-functional teams and departmental teams to drive optimal results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Req High School or equivalent
  • Req 1 - 2 years Experience in supporting ServiceNow Application Suite covering ITSM, ITOM and ITBM or in a client-facing environment interacting with senior leadership at the department and/or organization level.
  • Req Experience with development & configuration of service catalog items, workflows, UI policies, client scripts, notifications, surveys, SLA's, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Req Must have strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML SQL, and databases
  • Req Understanding of Change Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management as it relates to ITIL
  • Req Strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies / techniques
  • Req Good organizational and analytical skills with ability to prioritize multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Req Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Req Strong interpersonal relationship building skills - able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The hourly rate range for this position is $39.00 - $63.95.
