The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California Capital Campus, based in Washington, DC, seeks qualified applicants for part-time, one-semester, in-person positions as Lecturers to join our faculty at the Capital Campus in Fall 2025.
The faculty member will teach first-semester undergraduate students enrolled in a Leadership (4 Units) class. This course:
- Examines leadership through social analysis, covering ethics, power dynamics, decision-making, and diversity, using case studies and real-world applications.
- Fulfills GE: Graduation Requirement & Social Analysis (Category C).
Faculty typically teach one to three sections, for which they will develop syllabi and assignments in accordance with program guidelines. The class meets two days per week in two, two-hour blocks at the Capital Campus (1771 N St NW, Washington, DC). Faculty are encouraged to organize two to three site visits and/or host distinguished guest speakers throughout the semester.

Initial appointments are fixed-term, with the possibility of renewal contingent on performance and review by the program faculty, directors, and college deans.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should hold a PhD or other terminal degree by August 2025. Demonstrated excellence in teaching Business at the college level is required.

Compensation
The per-course rate for this position is $11,000.
