Clinical Instructor of Medicine (Fellow) Division of Transplant Nephrology

University of Southern California, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, offers a fellowship in Transplant Nephrology.

The fellowship is a one-year AST-accredited program designed to provide Nephrology graduates with experience in all aspects of kidney transplantation.

The curriculum will provide trainees with the foundation needed to become successful among the next generation of Transplant Nephrologists, program directors, clinicians, and medical educators.

The fellowship includes involvement in medical education, patient safety, quality improvement, and utilization management. 

Clinical rotations take place at the Keck Medical Center (KMC) of USC, a private 411 bed hospital. KMC has full UNOS accreditation for multi-organ transplantation including kidney, liver, pancreas, heart and lung transplant

.

The annual base salary for this position is $96,118.29.  When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
