    Clinical Neuropsychologist - Ambulatory Admin - Full Time 8 Hour Days (Exempt) (Non-Union)
Apply Keck Medicine of USC Hospital Los Angeles, CaliforniaThe Clinical Neuropsychologist will provide psychological evaluation and treatment for individuals who have been diagnosed with neurological disorders and their family members utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. As such, expertise in all aspects of the psychological, emotional, cognitive and coping needs of chronic neurological disorders will be required (Disorders including, but not limited to: Alzheimer's disease and Vascular dementias, Movement disorders and Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, cardiovascular disease and stroke, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, neuromuscular disorders, autoimmune disorders including multiple sclerosis, and brain lesions/tumors.)
Essential Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy (individual, couples, family, and group) on an outpatient basis.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and insurance related reports.
- Treat and educate patients and families according to the appropriate American Psychological Association and State Board of Psychology as well as appropriate policies and procedures.
- Prepares comprehensive psychological reports and other documentation which present interview findings, testing results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations for treatment; and communicates findings as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate comprehensive treatment care and follow up.
- Provide consultation, training, and education regarding the unique emotional and psychological aspects of a patient population with chronic neurological diseases.
- Other duties as assigned/within scope of practice.
Required Qualifications:
- Req Doctorate Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Req 2 years Postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
- Req 3 years Clinical experience in the assessment and management of related neurological conditions
- Req Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Req Familiarity with medical documentation practices and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Req A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Req Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and experience in conducting research studies related to mental health.

- Req Licensed Psychologist (CA DCA)
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
The annual base salary range for this position is $121,680.00 - $200,772.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
