USC's Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry is looking for a success-driven Enterprise Applications Developer to join its Office of Technology Services team. This role is a hybrid position, requiring both onsite and remote work.
The Enterprise Applications Developer will support the School of Dentistry in its mission to educate outstanding dental professional and provide excellent care to dental patients by providing excellent management of business data.
In this fast paced environment, the Enterprise Applications Developer will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
· Designs, writes, modifies, and tests software applications in accordance with established standards and requirements.
· Performs systems analysis to identify, define, and document user requirements and program specifications.
· Maintains, updates, and enhances existing software programs and systems.
· Analyzes program performance and recommends modifications to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
· Prepares technical reports, system documentation, and user instructions.
· Collaborates with users, management, and technical staff to ensure effective software solutions.
· Provides technical assistance and guidance to less experienced faculty and staff as required.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
The Technology Services team is seeking a self-starter, who is able to work autonomously and drive results in their area. This individual should have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

The hourly rate range for this position is $32.90 - $37.38. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field, Combined work experience and education as equivalent Minimum Experience: 0 - 6 months Minimum Field of Expertise: General knowledge of programming and documentation procedures and programming methods and operator instructions. Knowledge of one or more appropriate computer languages and development tools; principles of systems analysis and design; software development life cycle and methodologies; debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
